Thanks to club for vital donation
By Leicester Mercury | Thursday, July 12, 2012, 07:30
I would like to offer a big vote of thanks, from Cruse bereavement care and counselling, Leicestershire and Rutland, to the Oadby Launde Rotary Club for their very generous donation made after Cruse bereavement care gave a presentation and talk to the members of the rotary group.
Cruse gives a professional and caring service to all those in the city, county and in Rutland, to people suffering the effects of grief.
The service we give is free of charge.
We support people from all ethnic backgrounds and religions.
All those working for Cruse are volunteers and are fully trained.
Without the support of organisations such as the rotary club, our service would have to close.
If there are any other organisations or groups who feel they could make a donation, it would be very much appreciated.
Thanks again to the Oadby Launde Rotarians.
Peter.
Like Sylvia Campton, I have suffered from psoriasis in much the same places as described by her.
I also did not have too much success until I visited the USA four years ago and I bought a cream over a drug store counter (not possible in the UK).
Since that time, my psoriasis has all but disappeared and merely requires a mild touch up about once a week.
The cream is Called MG217 and is distributed by Triton Consumer Products inc, Arlington Heights, IL 60005 USA. I believe it is obtainable on the internet.
I am aware not all products work for everyone but all I can say is that it worked for me.
Good luck, Sylvia.

I write in response to Sylvia Campton suffering terrible symptoms of psoriasis (Mailbox, July 10).
I retail top quality active aloe vera and bee hive products.
They have proved very beneficial to psoriasis sufferers and Sylvia would be welcome to trial them.
Aloe Vera speeds up healing and has natural properties that will also help with the itching, burning and pain.
Please pass on my e-mail address and phone number, 07736 967411.
I would be happy to help.

Lack of stress and dairy help
My late husband had psoriasis and we tried all sorts of remedies.
Eventually it was when he cut out all cow products from his diet that things got better.
He drank soya milk and we kept to fish and white meats and sat in the sun as much as possible when it almost cleared up.
After he retired, it cleared and I reckoned it was lack of stress that helped.
I hope this helps.
