I've been to Rise of the Raj with a group of friends who attend regularly and I find the food excellent. The service was great and you get a good portion for the price your paying. I will be going back soon.

As I was graduating , my family and me decided to have a fun night out ,eating Indian food. So we ended up going to Rise of the Raj as we had a good feeling about Rise of the Raj. Our feeling turned out to be right and I must say we couldn't have chose a better restaurant. The service was fantastic, the staff were attentive without being overly present and the atmosphere was great for families and friends. Also this is the most original looking Indian restaurant I've been to. Most importantly... Food:Delicious all the dishes we had were absolutely brilliant! It was a pristine night out for me and my family.

Rise of the Raj had a relaxed ambience of quality as soon as I entered the room. The menu contained delightful sounding dishes but I always take advice from the helpful staff who reccomend me something out of the menu like salmon fish thawa which is bursting with flavour. My wife loves the butter chicken masala which is a mild creamy dish and so do I. Every dish I tried so far tastes marvellous- its well worth visiting Rise of the Raj!

Whenever I visit Leicester, I always go to Rise of the Raj because its a ten-minute walk from the train station and I prefer Rise of the Raj from all the restaurants near the station as the quality of the food is extremely good. I have no complaints about the service because its great. I like prawns so I usually try the fantastic prawn dishes accompanied by their fresh vegetable side-dish. No doubt rise of the Raj is the best!
Me and my family visited this restaurant on Saturday and we were pleasantly surprised due to the amazing interior, food and atmosphere. I like hot food so I tried the chicken Jalfrize- It was amazingly cooked with fresh green chilli. My wife is a vegetarian and she had vegetable dishes such as fresh broccoli accompanied with vegetable curry-she loved the taste! My son had lamb pasanda and he was delighted with his dish. The service was of a high standard and even though they were busy, they gave us enough time to look at the menu. The waiter was very friendly and helped us choose our dishes. We are definitely going back!

Rise of the Raj is simply the best Indian restaurant -the food is too good and the service is great1 I've been with my friends and I've had a warm welcoming by the staff. We went through the menu and I felt like I wanted to have every dish on the menu. But unfortunately I chose one dish- I had chicken tikka for the starter and my friend had onion bhaji. For the main course, I had Raj booges and my friend had chicken tikka masala. We both enjoyed it all so much. I highly reccomend rise of the Raj to any curry lovers.
I recently attended Rise of the Raj after reading all the reviews written in many different websites. At first I thought the reviewers were exaggerating but when I attended myself, I agreed with all of the good comments ,after the first morsel. I attended on a Saturday night and they were quite busy but they still take their time in welcoming you. The food was obviously the best part at it was ravishing! The service was great. I am definitely going back.
I have been to rise of the Raj many times and I am never disappointed as the food is brilliant and cooked fresh. I have been to many other Indian restaurants but I feel Rise of the Raj cannot be compared to the others as it is clearly the best by far.
I have been eating at Rise of the Raj for about 15 years. The quality of the food has been consistently excellent. The setting is unpretentious and the staff are friendly. It is my favorite Indian restaurant in Leicester. Long may the Raj continue to Rise.
I regularly eat here and have done so for numerous years. As of yet, I have still not grown wearisome; on the contrary it appeals to me just as much as it did the first time! The food consists of extravagance and conists of splendid quality. The food is complimented alongside the very helpful and eager service.
